Jun 13 SkepTour of Historic Congressional Cemetery, Washington, D.C.

For our third annual SkepTour, we decided to move away from the hustle and bustle   of downtown D.C. and take you on a walking tour of the beautiful and historic Congressional Cemetery.  Here you can find the final resting place of spiritualists, scientists, and political figures with legacies tied to conspiracy theories and popular myths.   You’ll also find stunning stone work and a tranquil park-like setting (don’t be surprised to see picnickers and dog walkers).

Saturday, June 13, 2015, 10:00 AM
Congressional Cemetery
1801 E St Se, Washington, DC
At Potomac Avenue SE and E Street SE  (map)

The cemetery entrance is about a four block walk from the Potomac Avenue Metro.  There is limited street parking.  The tour is free and open to the public, but we require that you send an RSVP to skeptour@ncas.org so we know who to expect.  The tour will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

Afterwards, those who wish may have lunch together nearby (location TBD).
